Terms of service

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract. You may not use the service if doing so would breach the law where you are, or if you are subject to applicable sanctions. Our services are offered only where we may lawfully offer them; we may decline or terminate an account on that basis.

03Accounts

You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done under your account. Accounts are for one named user; do not share logins or resell access. Tell us promptly at support@zentradings.com if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend an account where we see credential sharing or a security risk.

04Subscriptions, billing and renewal

• Prices are shown on the site in US dollars and exclude any tax, which is added at checkout where applicable.
• Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically each period until cancelled.
• Payment is taken by our payment processor; by subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your chosen method.
• If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend access until it clears.
• We may change prices for a future period on at least 30 days' notice; the new price applies from your next renewal, and you may cancel before then.

05Trials, cancellation and refunds

Where a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel first.

You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues to the end of the period already paid for.

Because subscriptions give immediate access to research that cannot be returned, fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we agree a refund at our discretion — for example a duplicate charge or a sustained failure of the service. Consumers in the UK and EU keep any statutory right to cancel that applies to them.

06What you may and may not do with our research

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the service and use its output for your own internal investment or research purposes.

• Do not redistribute, republish, resell or share our dashboards, theses or data with anyone outside your licensed users.
• Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-export the service, or bypass its rate limits or access controls.
• Do not use the output to train a machine-learning model, or to build a competing product.
• Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive our source code or models, except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable by law.
• Do not misuse the service in any unlawful, infringing or abusive way, or interfere with its operation or security.

07Intellectual property

The service, its content, models and software, and all intellectual property in them, belong to Zen Trading LLC or our licensors. These terms transfer no ownership. Content you enter — your notes, context and settings — remains yours; you grant us the licence needed to host and process it in order to run the service. Any feedback you send us, we may use freely.

08Third-party data and open-source components

The service incorporates data from public sources including SEC EDGAR, Korea's DART and the Taiwan Stock Exchange, and from commercial market-data providers. That data is supplied by its owners, on their terms, and we cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Open-source components we distribute remain under their own licences.

09Not investment advice

Zen Trading is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Nothing on this site is personalised investment advice. The service is an information and software tool. It does not take account of your objectives, financial situation or needs, it creates no advisory or fiduciary relationship, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Every decision you take using it is yours. See our disclosures page for the full statement.

10Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but we do not promise uninterrupted access; it may be unavailable for maintenance, a provider failure, or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or withdraw features. If we discontinue a paid service outright, we will give notice and refund the unused part of your current period.

11Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or any warranty as to accuracy, reliability or investment results. Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits the statutory rights of a consumer.

12Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, lost trading gains, trading losses, lost data or lost goodwill, however caused.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We do not exclude liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

13Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your redistribution of its output.

14Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if payment fails, or if we must do so to comply with the law — giving notice where it is practical to do so. On termination your licence ends; the sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law survive.

15Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. For material changes we will give subscribers at least 30 days' notice by email or in the product, and the change takes effect at your next renewal. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the revised terms.

16Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Mateo County, California. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@zentradings.com — most issues are resolved that way.

17General

These terms, together with the privacy policy and disclosures, are the entire agreement between us. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stands. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
